Re: Limericks
so I peered out into the gloom
and saw a black horse with his groom
the horse was a stallion
When Norman went to the pub
He too was served mighty fine grub
He ordered a curry
But left in a hurry
To go home and soak in the tub
When Susan fell down the stairs
and saw a black horse with his groom
the horse was a stallion
When Norman went to the pub
He too was served mighty fine grub
He ordered a curry
But left in a hurry
To go home and soak in the tub
When Susan fell down the stairs

Carrying two wooden chairs

And saw a black horse with his groom
The horse was a stallion
And his groom a rapscallion
There was a strange feeling of doom
The snowflakes soon covered the ground
When Susan fell down the stairs
Carrying two wooden chairs
She shouted for Norman

Re: Limericks
The snowflakes soon covered the ground
Eerie silence prevailed all around
When Susan fell down the stairs
Carrying two wooden chairs
She shouted for Norman
But in ran the storeman
Eerie silence prevailed all around

Re: Limericks
The snowflakes soon covered the ground
Eerie silence prevailed all around
I fashioned a snowball
When Susan fell down the stairs
Carrying two wooden chairs
She shouted for Norman
But in ran the storeman
Who said nobody really cares
It happened to me one night
Eerie silence prevailed all around
I fashioned a snowball
When Susan fell down the stairs
Carrying two wooden chairs
She shouted for Norman

Who said nobody really cares
It happened to me one night

I fashioned a snowball
And then heard a voice call
Just like the Baskerville hound
I once flew a `plane to Siam
It happened to me one night
(I`d forgotten to turn on the light )
The noise from downstairs
Eerie silence prevailed all around
I fashioned a snowball
And then heard a voice call
Just like the Baskerville hound

I once flew a `plane to Siam
Accompanied by will.i.am
It happened to me one night
(I`d forgotten to turn on the light )
The noise from downstairs
Took me unawares

I once flew a `plane to Siam
Accompanied by Will I Am
I said " How`s my Voice ?"
It happened to me one night
( I`d forgotten to turn out the light )
The noise from downstairs
Took me unawares
It didn`t `arf give me a fright
I was drinking a Mythos in Greece
Accompanied by Will I Am
I said " How`s my Voice ?"

He said 'not my choice'
I was drinking a Mythos in Greece
Wrapped in my nice warm fleece

He said 'not my choice'
"You've been eating too much chilli jam."
That stuff has quite ruined my singing
I was drinking a Mythos in Greece
Wrapped in my nice warm fleece
For although it was June

My neighbour`s ears are all ringing

It`s never too soon

That stuff has quite ruined my singing
My neighbour`s ears are all ringing
But though they complain
I was drinking a Mythos in Greece
Wrapped up in my nice warm fleece
For although it was June
It`s never too soon
For a holiday there with my niece.
Now she enjoys ouzo with Sprite
My neighbour`s ears are all ringing
But though they complain
I was drinking a Mythos in Greece
Wrapped up in my nice warm fleece
For although it was June
It`s never too soon

My neighbour`s ears are all ringing
But though they complain
I shall do it again
Now she enjoys Ouzo with Sprite
Although she`s exceedingly tight

But though they complain
I shall do it again
Now she enjoys Ouzo with Sprite
Although she`s exceedingly tight

But though they complain
I shall do it again
Through all their stamping and banging
Now she enjoys Ouzo with Sprite
Although she`s exceedingly tight
And is mean with the spirit

I shall do it again

Now she enjoys Ouzo with Sprite
Although she`s exceedingly tight
