In the winter I like comfort food like turkey soup.

I remember as a child, when I had a cold, huddling under a blanket, with a bowl of chicken soup. Lovely!

We have a nice tartan one we use in the car

I'm not one to join any O A P clubs for tea and biscuits.

I’m not a fan of those either. I joined the U3A but I haven’t been to any of the groups yet!

I'm in the local WI and quite enjoy going to the meetings....it gets me out seeing new people.
(There's a waiting list for U3A here!)

I shall have a look and see if U3A are in my area.

Apart from the one in Hale there are another two a short drive away.
