Re: Wordgame
No, we are flying from Manchester, which isn't too far away from where we live now.

Re: Wordgame
Haven't managed to book anything for September in Stoupa yet Jean, mainly because of lack of flights available and the extortionate cost. I am waiting for Jet2 to announce flights to Kalamata from Birmingham, which may be pie in the sky but word has it they have bought all Thomas Cook's flight slots up so we must wait and see. That's the plan for now anyway.....fingers crossed!

Re: Wordgame
Thank you. Ideally Jet 2 would set up flights to Kalamata from East Midlands Airport, which is half an hour down the road from us. We live in hope!!!

It seems we all have to come to terms with more rain in the future.....climate change and all that.

True. All we shall want to do is snooze in front of the fire with a plate of mince pies and a drink to hand!!

Re: Wordgame
Some may want to go out for a long walk after Christmas dinner instead....personally I'm not sure this would be a wise move. What do you think?

Boxing Day in our family means a huge buffet lunch followed by a walk round the lake in the big park.

After the big day, Boxing Day tends to be a fairly low key affair!

Re: Wordgame
It's surprising how many recipes there are for turkey leftovers.....better than eating it cold.
