Re: Wordgame
It seems like some parents have little control over their children’s behaviour.

Re: Wordgame
Sadly many of the 'old-fashioned values' have been lost somewhere along the way during the last fifty years.

Indeed. Some people just don’t get the importance of good manners.

Re: Wordgame
Most children learn by example, so I can't see how things are going to change unless parents (and others) show the kids how to behave properly.

Re: Wordgame
I've been retired 15 years, but during my 20 years in the classroom childrens' behaviour changed drastically and in latter days lessons became chaotic at times. Goodness only knows what it's like now!!

Children climbing on the tables? No, not as bad as that, I hope.

Re: Wordgame
Too many 'learning difficulties' I think....half the class sometimes, then the teacher can be snookered when it comes to keeping a meaningful lesson going for the other half whilst keeping order.

I expect they are relieved when it’s evening and they can relax!

Re: Wordgame
I've been cutting my own, trying to put in the usual layers with some success at the front and sides. The back is a bit more difficult though......I dread to think what my hairdresser will say!!!

You’re brave, Joy. Mine would look awful if I tried to cut it!

Re: Wordgame
Agreed. We are looking forward to our second doses on 17th April so that we can feel much safer. Still shielding in the meantime, until 31st March.
