Re: Phrases from Brochures/Guides
In both spring and autumn _ _ _ _ _ _ is a green haven, a sharp contrast to the often arid landscape prevalent in the rest of Greece. Arriving at _ _ _ _ _ _ was like walking into _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ . Abundant _ _ _ _ _ _ blooming crocuses blanket the ground, and the air is gentle.

Re: Phrases from Brochures/Guides
Yes, I have been there (nothing much gets past you, does it) - but what's the building it speaks of?
No, I meant I'd like to go to Dodona.

Re: Phrases from Brochures/Guides
Sorry...................misundersitting.
I will have to start again then.
(I have been to Dodona, a few years ago on a two day excursion from Lefkas. We also visited Meteora, Giannena, Perama, and Metsovo. You have to be a bit more sensitive to atmosphere perhaps than I am Lydia. Apart from the whispering phenomena in the theatre, there is not a lot of atmosphere in the place. I did spot some rather incredible deep red, miniature Sweet Peas in the seating though.)

Chania's Venetian ---------- dates back to the --------- century. Despite being heavily bombed during World War 11. Chania's Old Town is considered the most beautiful urban district on Crete.
That's the best I can do! I thought the second space should be fortress but it doesn't fit.

...it's the breakwater, but surely Jim's the winner as he identified the place which is the main thing?
