Re: Phrases from Brochures/Guides
Sorry chaps and chapesses. Got somewhat distracted for a couple of weeks.
On the _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ are the _ _ _ _ _ _ _ of the _ _ _ _ _ _ _ / _ _ / _ _ _ _ and _ _ _ _ _ and the partly-restored _ _ _ _ _ _ / _ _ / _ _ _ _ _ _ , then, as now, a _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ for _ _ _ _ _ / _ _ / _ _ _ . Below is the _ _ _ _ _ _ _ / _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ which is still used for _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ / _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ of _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ / _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ .
(The forward slashes denote spaces as they don't get inserted when using underscores.)

Well, it is all too easy to Google the text, so I removed most of it. Next week it will just be one letter!!!
Plus, someone on here knows this place very well, and it would be over in a minute if there was the slightest clue.
You will just have to work that bit harder.

Re: Phrases from Brochures/Guides
Well, without googling, and trying to think of a significant acropolis - is it Lindos? I guess it's Zeus and Athena...... Is that right?

Re: Phrases from Brochures/Guides
Very very close Lydia. Wrong acropolis though.
Zeus and Athena are quite correct.
