Yay! And I'll admit I have developed a liking for cake since lockdown!!

Oh yes and my favourite Is chocolate

Mmm, cakes and biscuits, they are hard to resist!

They are, and my resolve to cut down is wafer-thin, especially during lockdown!

....If that's the case don't even think about the rolls covered in chocolate and filled with cream

And cheesecake...yum!

Not forgetting those delicious filo pastry spinach or cheese pies we have in Stoupa, my favourite

Oooooh, I love those, hot from the oven!

Mmmm, they are delicious, especially eaten out in the open air.

.........where everywhere Is clean and fresh

With a nice Greek salad....you can't beat their tomatoes, ripened in the sun.

They are very good stuffed too

If I were vegan (which I'm not) I might choose to eat those for Christmas dinner instead of turkey!

They’d go well with roast vegetables!

Roast vegetables are delicious with anything, but particularly with chicken in my opinion!

It's also very economical, plenty to do with left overs a curry Is most welcome this cold weather

It looks as if we are due for some bad weather later this week, so hot comfort food will go down a treat.

Mmmmm......tomato is another of my favourites.

I love a beefsteak variety stuffed

We used to grow those in our old garden. I really miss harvesting them warm from the sun and having them for tea.

Did you harvest much fruit ?

Yes, mostly we had very heavy crops of tasty beef tomatoes. Mind you one year we lost the whole lot to tomato blight!

plenty of savoury dish es to make then.

Certainly and usually we had more than we could cope with so they were made into tomato sauce or soup for the freezer.
