Re: Wordgame
If my memory serves me correctly governments have only ever told us half of what's actually going on.

I think it will be a long time before we know what’s going on!

Re: Wordgame
We have taken the bull by the horns and booked two holidays....a bit more expensive than usual though. The operators seem to be taking advantage of Thomas Cook disappearing by charging more.

Re: Wordgame
If I book anything it will be train tickets. I don’t fly anymore, I hate it!

Re: Wordgame
The train tends to be an expensive option these days. Do you book well in advance to get the best deals?

Re: Wordgame
I try and get a good price, but it’s not always easy. Last summer we took the sleeper train to Cornwall. It was fun but I hardly slept a wink!

Re: Wordgame
Well trains can't be too comfortable for sleeping. Give me my own bed every time from that point of view!

I've never been able to sleep too well away from home, but I'm full of admiration for those who can!

I like being in my own house ( I like going on holiday, but it’s nice to get home!).

Me too, but I'm open to suggestions about the best way to get to sleep in a strange bed.

Re: Wordgame
Well, after a long day sightseeing, a nice dinner and a few glasses of wine you should be able to drop off easily!

Re: Wordgame
Thanks for the helpful hints but when on holiday I think the main problem may be the hardness of Greek beds! How does one get over that?

Re: Wordgame
That’s a difficult one. I agree you can toss and turn on those beds trying to get to sleep!
