The Robin Hood was reasonably well found but the various writers, producers and directors were largely drawn from the Americans who had left Hollywood after being branded "Communist" by the Macartyites. Most still had to use pseudonyms, even in "enlightened" England, to enable US distribution. The theme of "from the rich to the poor" was always prominent.

After a well publicised period escorting Paul McCartney, Jane married cartoonist Gerald Scarfe and became a well published cake baker.

Gerald Scarfe worked with Pink Floyd during the production of the staging of "The Wall"; a musical "event", dealing with themes of abandonment and personal isolation as experienced by Roger Waters.
