It Is a type of clothes brush Susie,It's for removing mud or snow off clothing. I said it was useless Very Happy

Think it was made and used in the US or maybe Australia or New Zealand , not used now. Might have been used in the UK too but I have no information except the article referred to homesteads which sounds American
