That's the spirit but don't celebrate to the point of forgetting why you are celebrating .... no premature exasperation for me!

We're all pretty level-headed, we don't over celebrate the highs, or dwell on the lows to much.

Yes, I guess we're all old enough to be well grounded!!

Except for me..........I like to hog the TV remote control, especially at Christmas!

Is anybody still chipping away at the left-overs or have we all seen an end to the likes of turkey curry with bubble and squeak?

We're out of the woods as far as that is concerned, thank goodness!

And in another week, we can de-decorate (or is it just "corate"?). All that crepe paper to iron before it's put away for next year!

Mmm,everything will seem a bit flat once all the festivities are over.

Oh, I don't know....I shall be glad when every surface is clear of Christmas cards, chocolates, nuts, dates and two weeks' dust again!

... And we can hear again the small voice that is still calm.

Looking forward to an improvement in the weather in the new year. Fingers crossed!

Yes, the lengthening days come as a relief to us all.
