Re: General knowledge
OK - we have a man who had similar gifts to Gershwin who was not originally American - in fact he was only granted citizenship shortly before his death.
More classical in output than Gershwin.

Re: General knowledge
I have to confess to knowing the answer. During a discussion about this question in the chat box, I remembered about the reverse image look up facility available on t'internet. You probably know the one I mean John. I checked to see of it would work and..........................it does.
It works very well with old photos like this. This is the reason I haven't had a go lately.

Nothing wrong with using anything and everything at your disposal - most of us use Google to get us started or finished or somewhere in betweenh.

Re: General knowledge
The one I use Deb is TinEye. You can get it HEREas a plugin for your browser, or you can do it online by posting your image to the website HERE
It checks against a database and gives you a list of sites where the image is posted. It works well with older images, as sometimes fairly new images haven't been posted anywhere on the internet and haven't been called for a check.
It is very useful for checking competition entries that have been nicked and claimed as some plonker's own work
Right, now back to the General Knowledge question.....................................erm.............Oh *hit that's me intit?

Re: General knowledge
Right, try this for a quickie.
Mom, Dad, and 2 kids have come to a river, and they find a boat. It is small and can only carry one adult or 2 kids at a time. Both kids are good rowers, but how can the whole family reach the other side of the river?
