Yes Vicky! The tiny black grapes are dried and called Zante Currants. This photo was taken at Alykanas on Zakynthos in 1989, just behind the apartments where we stayed that year. The owner invited us to pick his grapes whenever we wanted to. I've never tasted anything like them before or since!

Well, of course there are many more islands than 200 of course (3465 so I hear), but as this one has at least two tourists in action, it must be among the few that are readily accesible.

No. It's a big island. The photo was taken in 1990 but I don't imagine this place has changed all that much since then.

It is a chapel in the Samaria Gorge.

It took me six hours to walk the Samaria Gorge 20 years ago...if I tried to do it today I'd probably have to be rescued by a donkey!
