Shall we change the subject? It was so good to see the Queen and the royal family all dressed up this morning on the palace balcony.

Yes, it was a very happy occasion. Yesterday evening we went to watch the mayor lighting the jubilee beacon.

The Jubilee celebrations made good tv viewing

And made quite a difference to the mood of those watching....it cheered us up anyway!!!!

It was lovely to see the crowds looking so cheerful.

Good to have a change from the depressing outlook brought about by all the recent political nonsense!
