Or birds tweeting in the garden!

or even the scent of the black cat next door

Cats do seem to have a magical way of knowing exactly what's going on don't they?

They also seem to wander too far from home

You can wave goodbye to obedience training if you have a cat!

If It get's to hot over the next few days he'll be hiding in the tall shrubs sheltering from the heat.

I expect he has been seeking some shade today!

It has been hot. We managed with the help of a sun umbrella on the lawn.

He often does make tea in the afternoon.....a wise move because then he can expect me to make tea first thing in the morning!

Yes, we help each other and it depends on how we're both feeling. Mind you I'm not so house proud these days. Happy as long as things get done occasionally!

I much prefer to be in the garden when the weather's fine, but as it's rainy today I have caught up a bit indoors.
