That will do, am sure Chris will agree, it is Mavromati, the village above Ancient Messini. I have to say I did not recognise it despite having spent a couple of hours there!!

I was once an Ancient Greek city
Though now more of a small town or a village?
My postal code is 24015.
I have another name which I think means 'previous'.
My name is also the name of a British 'flower'
With the short form of a boy or girl's name inserted.
I have a water feature and am
A start point for some lovely walks.
You may also choose to buy some
Olive oil from tables set up on the roadside.

Philomela was turned into a nightingale, Procne into a swallow.Tereus as a hoopoo but this is only one version of who was turned into what depending on the variation of the myth of Philomela

Looking at the view across the water, I would say Chrani?It is not the mermaid I have a photo of from Chrani, though.
