An elderly couple had just learned how to send text messages on their cell phones.
The wife was a romantic type and the husband was more of a no-nonsense guy.

One afternoon the wife went out to meet a friend for coffee.
She decided to send her husband a romantic text message and she wrote:
"If you are sleeping, send me your dreams. If you are laughing, send me your smile.
If you are eating, send me a bite. If you are drinking, send me a sip. If you are crying,
send me your tears. I love you."

The husband texted back to her: "I'm on the toilet. Please advise."

Talking of texts and this is a true story I heard on Pirate FM down in Cornwall last week.

They were asking about mistakes that you have made in sending texts, this fella rang in with the following story.

Feeling a bit frisky I sent my wife a text but didnt mention her name in in it,
I told her how much I loved her and was very explicit about our love making and told her that I longed to be with her. Pressed send and that was it.

Twenty minutes or so later I received a text from my boss asking me how long I had felt this way about her and that she had felt the same way about me for some time and can we get together very soon.

Yes I had sent the text by mistake to my now ex boss

Another one I heard was,

A young man took a nude full frontal photo of himself to send to his girlfriend Marion for a laugh, but he made the mistake of sending it to all of his contacts beginning with "M" which of course included his mum
