Near here there is a village called?
On one of the saints days, they have a street party where everyone in the village puts out tables and chairs with drinks/various mezze dishes and everyone in the village circulates, inviting anyone passing through to join them. We were lucky enough to experience this first hand a number of years ago and I reckon if it hadn't been for the fact we had 2 small boys to get to bed it would have been a very late night.

That is what I think too Dawnie, at least nearby the canal, round the coast a bit,past Cape Drastis, lovely beach under the cliff. With the Sunset taverna on the top
