A storm is coming in the new year. No good burying your head in the sand. The Lib Dems have been used as a human shield by the Tories, but, well, if you lie down with dogs, you get fleas.

Politics is a funny game. What we have to remember is that, after the Second World War, this country was much much deeper in debt than it is now, and the welfare state was constructed. There are those who would have us forget that.

If things gets as bad as the gainsayers claim, we may be thankful for all the copies of The Watchtower bought in the past, subsidising our future accommodatioon!
