Never heard of Makrinitsa. Maybe it has a naturally wonky horizon, as it's an imaginary place!

It is known as the Balcony of Greece, Lydia and featured all those years ago in Greek Language and People.You have to park outside the village and walk along a narrow street where the views down to Volos are terrific. The street is also lined with "locally" produced items, mainly the sickly sweet preserved fruits and syrups. Like many of these traditional Greek places, we found it a bit too geared for the tourist buses.
