The sound he produced was quite awesome
The musicians a talented foursome
But there were some who said
It would go to his head
And, besides, he would get quite a sore bum.

(Sorreeee! It was the only rhyme I could think of! )

With regret he announced his retirement

But his bowels still had their requirement

With regret he announced his retirement
But his bowels still
had their requirement
A portion of prunes
That suppressed all the tunes

With regret he announced his retirement
But his bowels still
had their requirement
A portion of prunes
That suppressed all the tunes
But all trips to the loo became urgent.

But managed to retain his propriety
With the aid of a cork

The poor chap withdrew from society
But managed to retain his propriety
With the aid of a cork
On the end of a fork
He went on his way pretty quietly.

He made a mistake one fine day
When he sat on a large bale of hay.

The cork broke in half

He made a mistake one fine day
When he sat on a large
bale of hay.
The cork broke in half

And
slaughtered a calf
Which ended up roasted on a tray!.

The meat, it was done to a turn.

The potatoes he managed to burn
The gravy had lumps
He was down in the dumps
Cos his stomach had started to churn.

He was sick as a dog in the night

But that was just part of his plight
For when morning came round

He awoke to the sound
Of whooping great sounds of delight

For morris men gathered outside

They danced with a hankie
And the one that was lanky

Was so ugly that everyone cried.

The flowers they wore on their hats
