Question 2...an array?

Question 4...Urchin?

Question 5...Sea Urchin?

Question 8...Mrs Tiggy-Winkle?

Question 10...Groundhog Day? As for the ancient holiday in Rome, I found this information (sorry about the long quote!)
<< So where does the groundhog come into all of this? Well, Romans, like many of their compadres around Europe believed that the weather in the early days of February could help predict the forecast, and to help with this soothsaying, Romans turned to hedgehogs for guidance. This tradition was carried throughout much of Europe and into Germany, and eventually travelled to the United States via German immigrants. But, since hedgehogs aren’t native to Pennsylvania and there weren’t many other hibernating, burrowing animals around, German immigrants settling in Pennyslvania took up the groundhog as their prognosticator. Add to that a sprinkle of Celtic witches and goddesses, a few ancient animal superstitions, and voila: you have yourself the modern Groundhog Day.>>

Hello Deb, all those five correct, yes Hedgehog Day in Ancient Rome is now Groundhog day in America! Thanks for the quotation, you found out more than I did regarding the detail. Very Happy

If you are looking for the remaining answers, No. 7 is particularly amusing!

Question 9 - they shouldn't drink milk because it can give them diarrhoea? I didn't know that.

Question 12 - June and July?

I've drawn a blank with No 7, Wendy!

Hello Deb, yes June and July. About the milk I just had they are lactose intolerant....

No. 7, to do with sports that hedgehogs all over the world might participate in, and the events they might try?  Very Happy

I'd like to know the answers to the remaining questions, Wendy. I have tried googling, without success. I just realised I didn't answer one of the questions properly...Mrs Tiggy-Winkle was a washerwoman!

I hope you and all other Unpluggers have a lovely Bank Holiday weekend.

I'll try and think of a question.

Thanks Deb, sorry for the delay in posting the remaining answers. Yes, Washerwoman is the correct answer.

Here are the other answers that I have:

1.  Between 5000 and 7000 quills.

3. Very poor eyesight, they rely on hearing and smell.

6.  17 different species.

7.  There used to be the International Hedgehog Olympic Games! Events included sprints, hurdles and floor exercises!

11. I have read they have been around for 70 million years and also 15 million years, either way it is a very long time!

Over to you Deb when you are ready.  Very Happy
