Bomb scare during exams today
A hoax,or some sort of foul play
The kids were delighted
And not at all 'frighted'
When they got an extra holiday.

Referendum is just round the corner

Got fox cubs at the bottom of the garden
If they eat your veg will you grant pardon
I feed them with mints
To give them big hints
That my veg patch is one they are barred in.

At last the falcons at Norwich are fledging

I wish it was ready over!!

At last the falcons at Norwich are fledging
Soon they will be swooping over the hedging

The UK voted Brexit

At last the falcons at Norwich are fledging
Soon they will be swooping over the hedging
But what a sad story

And will there be panic in Dover?

When the refugee camp moves to Kent

At last the falcons at Norwich are fledging
Soon they will be swooping over the hedging
But what a sad story
And just a tad gory
The rogue female into their territory edging.

Next year she's the one we'll be watching

When the refugee camp moves to Kent
I doubt that is where they will be sent

Next year she's the one we'll be watching
Just to see if a plot she is hatching

To take over the nest

A deal they will arrange

I doubt that is where they will be sent
Maybe nothing will change
A deal they will arrange
And then call it money well spent.

Since August it's gone very quiet

Next year she's the one we'll be watching
Just to see if a plot she is hatching
To take over the nest
Will she ever be able to rest?
After outrageous territory-snatching.

Maybe the male won't accept her

Not even a hint of a riot
The row's settled down

Maybe the male won't accept her
Feels a killer is not a good mother
Even though she's so feisty

Voted in, so no use to deny it.

He wants Nigel for his British sidekick

Where do our falcons spend winter?

Then all the right wing boxes they`ll tick
But if they get together

Where do our falcons spend winter ?
Don`t know, but the pairs will just splinter
Well I'm sure they'll be back

Cos those canny lads don't miss a trick.

But Theresa's the lady in charge

And come March the nest sites they'll re-enter.

I think wildlife webcams are great

Well no doubt he`ll be back
When some backbone we lack
And some kind of crisis looms large.

I wonder what this year will bring

With such intimate views
Of Giraffe and Gnus
Even when they meet a sad fate.

Sometimes for me it's too gory

At my age I`m past worrying !

A giant Iceberg`s about to break free

Sometimes for me it`s too gory
Even though it`s a real true story
Yes , it`s life in the raw
And many a bloody paw
Is revealed in all of its glory

I just wish I could warm up
