Adam the Airedale snores loudly
Whilst his owner looks on very proudly
The dog won first prize
For the most appealing eyes

Recycling your rubbish is fun
But can sometimes be overdone
Just do what you can
Cos the collection man

Just do what you can
Cos the collection man
Will pay you at twopence a ton.

This may not seem overly generous

Had carried off several trophies
Awarded by two judges - the Sophies!

This may not seem overly generous
And lifting the box is so strenuous

Had carried off several trophies
Awarded by two judges-the Sophies
One was a wooden spoon

This may not seem overly generous
And lifting the box is so strenuous
But with my truss fully adjusted

The other a book-Lorna Doone
The third, some bread, The Loafies

Whilst watching Brazil on the tele

This may not seem overly generous
And lifting the box is so strenuous
But with my truss fully adjusted
And my nose fully dusted
The pain in my groin was quite venomous

Whilst watching Brazil on the tele
I was amazed at the ongoing melee

The hole in my shoe let in water
So I filled it with a dollop of mortar

They seemed suicidal

It gave me a blister

It gave me a blister
So I said to my sister

Oh for the old days, and Pele!

So who's going to win in the final?

I could do with a plateful of horta.

Think the Argies will be in denial

So who`s going to win in the final
Think the Argies will be in denial
We know both sides dive

They collect it from up the Greek mountains
And wash it in the village fountains
If they use too much soap

And if anyone's Messi, it's Lionel!

If they do, it will cause stomach pains!

Although most of them got kicked on the shin

Before catching their flight
And celebrating back home in Berlin!

A great cure for the croup
And a comfort to those with the 'flu.

I`d rather be there than in Nice

I`d rather be there than in Nice
A wander through the olive groves

Why can't they be 'simples' - like James!

How I love to go walking in Greece
I`d rather be there than in Nice
A wander through the olive groves
Along to sun kissed coves
At last I have found quiet & peace!

But at present it's Le Tour de France

It's "Kalderimi and Kalamari" for me
