Re: General knowledge
OK, bear with me........
(a) .... who or what was originally sketched in 1987 in the UK? (Two word answer.)
(b) By whom? (Real name.)
(c). The artist also chose an "alias", so what was his pen name and from where did he get this name?

Re: General knowledge
No.....
If you read everything again that I have written, there is a clue there.
Something else of a very similar nature was also drawn in the the same year but by a woman. This is the one sketched in 1987 by a man.
The sketches later turned into something else as well, coming alive, so to speak.
I have one, sent to me by a dear friend.

I've read it over and over, Wendy and I've googled, but I'm none the wiser. Is alias the key word? And, are you talking about an artist or an author?

Re: General knowledge
No, alias isn't the clue Deb, the clue is actually in the very first line of my posting of 8th June...
Yes, you are looking for an artist not an author.
You also know his sketches of ............ later become something else, came alive so to speak, and that I was given one as a present. Pictures also arrive through the post, although they may be a little dog-eared! Nothing to do with dogs though! A lot of women love them and so do children.
Don't count the number of dots in the paragraph above, there is no clue there. The main thing you are looking for is the two word name of the creation itself.
So once you see the clue word it should be fairly easy to work out the rest...

Re: General knowledge
Yes! Well Done!
Interestingly, the Forever Friends Bears were also created in the same year, sketched by Deborah Jones.
Over to you again Jean.
