Re: Jim Marsh
Yes, I've been thinking about Jim too, 73 today!
He used to insist jokingly that he and I were the same age, but I'm still 72 and will be for another 11 months and two weeks! Some things never change, including fond memories of Jim, still fresh going on 4 years after he left us.
Happy birthday Jim and love from Joy and Pete.

Re: Jim Marsh
March 19th comes round again. Today would have been Jim's 75th birthday, God bless him. We all have our own lovely memories ....he may be gone, but he's definitely not forgotten, especially here on Unplugged. All the best Jim, wherever you are!

Re: Jim Marsh
Spoke to Carol this morning. Have to admit I forgot it was Jim's birthday. She is a bit despondent as she has eye problems and has to go for an operation at Liverpool hospital to save her sight in one eye.
News from me, Nick is in surgery as I write this, finally having his new hip fitted (we sincerely hope!) A little strange for me as first time alone in this house. Good job the cats don't stray too far.....!!!

Re: Jim Marsh
Thanks for the news Chris. We wish Carol well and really hope her eyesight can be saved.
Very best wishes to Nick too, I'm sure he'll be like a new man in a few weeks time though. You'll have to sit on him to stop him overdoing things!!!
PS Pete says tell Nick to keep active and do the exercises religiously for a good outcome.

Re: Jim Marsh
Hi Chris, good to hear Nick is being 'done' at last!!!
I will give Carol a call in the next day or so. I did not ring on Jim's birthday because I did that last year and I think it upset her

Re: Jim Marsh
Well, four days after surgery and Nick is still in the most pain he has ever had in his life. Can't sleep, can't sit comfortably and no chance of doing any post surgery exercises. Poor man and there's nothing I can do for him but be here.
Re: Jim Marsh
Ooooh dear, sorry to hear that Chris. Poor Nick, can't they at least do something to relieve his pain in the short term? Fingers firmly crossed that things will improve very soon. xx
