Likewise. I am looking at his photo from his funeral service and he feels so close.....

OC has sent a message from Stoupa:

'Jim, always missed, but certainly still with us in spirit.

It still seems strange not to see Jim posting.  He is missed.

When you're looking back for something over old posts and see his name, it's like he's still here. Very much missed.

I know what you mean Lilian, I do often forget Jim's no longer with us, I do it with my dad and then get a shock when I realised I've only got memories and photos to look at.

This Saturday it will be a year since Jim died.I can't believe it and even Carol says that the year has passed faster than she thought it possibly could. She still misses dear Jim, naturally, but has learnt to live a different life and now has many friends she probably wouldn't have got to know had Jim been alive. She's even off to Perth (Scotland) for a few days with some female friends. Good on her.

Happy memories of Jim here too, although we will always miss him and wish him back with us.

I have spoken to Carol this evening and she told me that, as yet, she can't realise that Jim's been gone a year already, although she knows that tomorrow could be a very emotional day for all the family. She really is coping well and is actually enjoying an outgoing lifestyle with her new friends. I'm sure Jim would wholeheartedly approve!
Brave lady!  Cool

February has started really well! How good it is to have Jim's wife, Carol with us now as a member of Unplugged.

Congratulations Carol on mastering the Internet!

(I can imagine Jim, with a very large grin on his face, saying the same thing!! Cool Very Happy )

Tomorrow will be the anniversary of the day Jim died two years ago. How does time fly past so quickly?

We all still miss you Jim and always will so long as we and this place survives.

We use this place as somewhere where we can meet, chat, and have fun, just as you intended.

Carol joined us this year and was welcomed with open arms. You would be so proud of the computer skills she has gained!!

I will be thinking of you tomorrow Jim

Love Susie

Only just caught up with Susie's post from Sunday (we have been away for the weekend), but Pete and I have been thinking about Jim and talking about the times we spent together. Happy days!

How quickly that two years has gone by! I am very aware that it hasn't been easy for you, Carol, to get to this point, but we are so pleased that these days your memories of Jim are happy ones.

We have all been enriched by his presence, and Stoupa Unplugged and the company of friends here are a lasting memorial for which we are all most grateful.

So thanks again Jim, rest in peace, and of course we shan't forget you.........

Joy x
