I watched a TV programme about her not long ago Jean, so I suppose it was still fresh in my mind!

So......what is this and where will you find it?

No, not the Fens. We don't have scenery like that by any stretch of the imagination!

Don't think so Jim, but OC might know the answer to this because it is in Scotland. The question is......where?

Weeeeell.................OK, tisn't too far away I suppose!

The statue is the Black Watch Monument and it's by the River Tay at Wade's Bridge in Aberfeldy. It commemorates the first muster of the Black Watch Regiment which was held in Aberfeldy in 1740. The statue was actually unveiled in 1887.

Your turn again Chas....

Precisely, being:
Pipe 4
Pin 9
Kilderkin 18
Barrel 36
{the mighty} Hogshead 54 gallons (72 gallons was thought too heavy for two men to lift!).

Carry on Susie, you've had a while to think

Isn't there an alternative name for the 'Pin' Chas?
'Firkin' is a name for 9 gallons that brought much hilarity to us daft, youthful drinkers.
