At the start of the week, Tesco's share price was around a third of what it had been a week earlier.
The Directors and Board have been in far-reaching discussions over how they will respond to prevent this setback becoming a crisis.
Cutting overhead costs has been the primary reaction.
A new "no-cost" uniform has been proposed.
Staff in Salisbury show off the new uniform ....
Consultation with Unions is continuing.
