Something happens each summer in the Isle of Man which involves both the chapel and the earth mound

Having googled ( Rolling Eyes ), I think it's Tynwald Hill and St John's Chapel where the Isle of Man parliament meets once a year. It's a tradition dating back to the 15th century and is called the Midsummer Court.

I think that's close enough - the exact connection is that there is a service in the chapel before the main ceremony promulgating laws takes place.

(The Manx parliament does meet on other days as well - this is purely ceremonial - a bit like the opening of parliament)

Nice one Lydia! That didn't take long!

I should add that the lepidopterist is, fairly obviously, The Collector (of butterflies), the setting for The Magus was inspired by the island of Spetses and The French Lieutenant's Woman was set in Lyme Regis, Dorset.......just to make it clear.

Your turn again Lydia.....
