Had a good, relaxing holiday, despite less than perfect weather. We had 3 cloudy days with some rain and a thunderstorm but still managed to get out and about and do some walking and explore this little island. Our main regret is that, due to the weather, we didn't get chance to do a boat trip to see the western coast and caves from the sea, or get to Antipaxos. I suppose that gives us an excuse to go back sometime - I think it would be very beautiful ... As a result of hanging around in queues of sick people, waiting for tests, Sam & I both came home with a hefty dose of Hospital Acquired Lurgi .... and fun, it ain't. (Yes, it is both of us, so not the usual man-flu!) Last week, we spent much time and effort in destroying the stockpile of British tissues .... it's hellish difficult using a computer with streaming eyes and ...
